Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspector:

Acts as the manager of the voivodeship pharmaceutical inspection, which is a part of joined voivodeship administration. The institution of public administration, in this case, is the Governor, who executes tasks from the range of Pharmaceutical Inspection, with the help of Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspector, who makes administrative decisions in the name of the Governor, |

executes the tasks and competences of Pharmaceutical Inspection defined in the act and separate rules, |
| • |
in matters connected with executing tasks and competences of Pharmaceutical Inspection, he is the institution of the first instance, |

is appointed and dismissed by the governor on application of Main Pharmaceutical Inspector, |
| • |
manages the voivodeship pharmaceutical inspectorate |
| • |
administers the special financial resources, which are the Pharmaceutical Inspection's financial resources, gained from providing services in the range of pharmaceutical analysis, on the ground of the regulations of special resources, as well as in accordance with the annual financial plan of special resources, |
Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspector on the basis of the regulations of Pharmaceutical Law Act (Journal of Law of 2004 No. 53 item 533, No. 69 item 625, No. 91 item 877, No. 92 item 882, No. 93 item 896, No. 173 item 1808) makes decisions in the range of:

giving the permission, refusal of, permission of, change of, withdrawal or ascertaining the expiration of permission for running a pharmacy (article 99 paragraph 2), |
| • |
granting or refusing permission, changing, withdrawing ascertaining the expiration of permission for running a pharmacy outlet (article 70 paragraph 4 referring to article 99 paragraph 2), |
| • |
withdrawing permissions for running public pharmacies (article 103 paragraph 1) |
| • |
withdrawal of permission for running pharmacy outlet (article 70 paragraph 4 referring to article 103 paragraph 1), |
| • |
removing affirmed infringements, in a fixed period of time in case of affirmation of violation of requirements relating to storage and turnover of the medicinal products and medical articles (article 120 paragraph 1), |
| • |
looking up pharmacies, pharmacy outlets or other establishments of medicinal products or medical articles turnover (article 120 paragraph 2), |
| • |
suspension of turnover within the area of operation, of a particular series of medicinal products or medical articles, in case the medicinal product or medical article does not fulfill the defined specific quality requirements (article 121 paragraph 1), |
| • |
withdrawal from turnover of the medicinal product, available solely within the area of his action, in case of affirmation, that the healing medicinal does not fulfill the set quality requirements (article 122 paragraph 2 referring to article 121 paragraph 1) |

bring into turn of the medicinal product, available solely within the area of his action, in case of affirmation, that the healing medicinal does not fulfill the set quality requirements (article 122 paragraph 2 referring to article 121 paragraph 1), |
| • |
exemption of institutions of health care from the duty to run hospital pharmacies (article 87 paragraph 3), |
| • |
exemption of pharmacies from selling intoxicants from group I−N and psychotropic substances from group II−P (article 95 paragraph 2). |
The Act on counteracting drug addiction (i.e. Journal of Law of 2003 No. 24 item 198, No. 122, item 1143):

On application of Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspectorate the court states about forfeiture, in favor of Country Treasury, of psychotropic substances and precursors from the group I−R, secured by the police or the customs (article 22 paragraph 4), |

Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspectorate affirms that the company applying for the permission for production, processing or reprocessing of intoxicants, psychotropic substances or precursors from the group I−R, ensures the conditions of production and turnover protecting against usage of intoxicants, psychotropic substances or precursors requiring permissions by unauthorized persons or for other aims than determined in the issued given permissions (article 23 paragraph 5), |

Voivodeship Pharmaceutical Inspectorate holds supervision over production, processing, reprocessing, turnover and distinction of intoxicants, psychotropic substances and precursors being medicinal products or medical articles (article 31 paragraph 1). |
